Elemental sulfur must be oxidized to sulfate before plants can utilize it. This can be a long process. Traditional elemental sulfur granules can take months, even years to oxidize. Micronized Sulfur Technology, or MST, is a patented technology (under license by Sulvaris Inc.) where elemental sulfur is micronized resulting in an average particle size of 15 micron. Smart Nutrition MAP+MST integrates that micronized sulfur directly into the manufacturing process of Mono-Ammonium Phosphate granules. As a result, granules have a uniform distribution of MST and MAP. The small particle size also allows for quicker oxidation and earlier availability to your crops.
Smart Nutrition MAP+MST is a homogeneous granule fertilizer. The unique manufacturing process creates precise amounts of sulfur and phosphate that are chemically combined, resulting in consistent nutrient delivery and increased soil-to-fertilizer contact.
